And under my nose its flaking and peeling lol. My whole face has been dehydrated and I've used cetaphil moisturizer to restore my skin but it hasn't really been working, I've still been peeling I don't know why. Any suggestions? I want to wear makeup and cover my red nose but I don't want my makeup to look flaky as well. I have sensitive skin 😕 help!

Use a gentle exfoliator on your skin to get rid of dead skin and flakes.
If your skin is that dehydrated, you should be moisturizing it about 4 times a day ☺
You can also add an oil on top or in your moisturizer, oils only help to SEAL moisture in so by themselves they won't hydrate as much.
You can use vitamin e oil... or coconut oil. As for your moisturizer, try using one that's a cream... not a lotion since they tend to absorb more. You should also try doing hydrating masks, like just plain honey for instance... and because you want to get rid of redness you can grind up oats in your blender ( any kind ) and mix it with honey so you have a face mask for hydration and redness. ☺

I'm prone to sinus infections which means a lot of tissue which dries out your nose. The first sign ill start putting polysporin on my nose at bedtime. And ill Avoid makeup if I can if not ill use a but load of sensitive baby moisturizer on my nose and wait about 15-20 minutes then gently massage it in then apply makeup As you normally would, just apply a bit lighter as you'll probably be blowing your nose and you don't really want to pull all your mKeup off your nose :)

I had the same problem and decided to wait it out and continued moisturizing my skin. Eventually after 3
Days the flakiness went away:) drinks lots of fluids like water, hot teas or gatorades

Use an exfoliator then a mask. I love the First Aid Beauty one from sephora. I helps my dry skin a lot especially in winter. You could also use the serum I help lock in moisture. Also buy tissues that have moisture in it

I use Jurlique love balm around my nose when I have a cold and it's getting a little sore and it helps. I bought it to use as lip balm but I didn't really like it for that but I heard of people using it around their nose and whatnot. It's not a miracle hydrator but it helps keep the area from being super sore and uncomfortable. I think people also use the Rosebud salve in the same way.

Just because you said you have a cold here's a nice tea for getting rid of the cold and to soothe the throat (and it's really yummy!): Get a jar and cut up 3-4 lemons, and squeeze a decent amount of honey (if you want it sweeter put more), and sprinkle some ginger. Then let it marinade for a little, but you don't have to! I like it so the honey soaks into the lemons:) and when you're wanting to drink it get hot water and drink away! it's so so yummy!
