Whenever I paint my nails I can never seem to miss getting most of it on my fingers! I've tried cleaning up with a Q-Tip/ Cotton bud but it doesn't clean up well. The picture is of my nails after attempting to clean up with a cotton bud. Excuse the terrible shape of my nails, they need to be reshaped!

Put tape around them before you start painting. Sounds weird but it works!

Love the color. Mine is very similar..lol My manicurist does any clean up with a tiny pointed paintbrush dipped in remover.

Use a q tip and dip it in the remover to clean up the edges.

Thanks everyone! I use Zoya's polish remover so I don't think it's that. I'll definitely be trying using a small brush and a nail pen. :)

You could also use an orange stick/cuticle pusher wrapped in a little cotton on the end. the stick is pretty good since it's pointed on one end.

This will sound weird lol...I pull the cotton complety off the qtip and dip the stick in nail polish remover for a few seconds then clean up messy?reas. It works!!

Right after you finish painting it (when it's wet on your skin) take the curved part on the edge of the nail file attatched onto the clippers (they don't all have it, I know.) just use it or anything like it to scrape off the wet polish.

When I worked in the beauty industry use a cuticle pusher or sometimes called an orange stick dap it in nail varnish remover, split a cotton pad in two and gently pick up the fluff with the wet orange stick but don't make it too thick cos otherwise you can't get the sharp clean edge you want, hope this helps:) nails are lovely btw X.
