Eat clean. All natural is best. For posing, find your best angles and learn how to work them. Hope that helps!

When posing, It's good to tilt your chin downwards a little bit- Kim Kardashian uses this technique a lot.

There are certain things like you have to be around 5'9 to do runway but if you aren't that tall, you could still do a whole lot of stuff. You could try to find an agency (research them!) if they want a bunch of money, don't waste your time with them. There's a website model mayhem that I've recently joined. If you're going to join, please just be careful. It's for freelance modeling so you won't have an agent to find you jobs. (I'm personally waiting till my braces come off to get started) but just research the people and make sure they're real and not creepers. I'm not some sort of model guru snd I know there are girls that know a lot more than I do, but I'll try to answer any questions you have and sm always able to talk :)

I heard modeling school is a bunch of BS so try finding a good agency instead...my friend and her sisters went to a modeling school and they are soooooo skinny and they told her sister that she had to lose weight even though she was 5'7 and looked skinny she had to be a certain weight.. Also try not to get brain washed into not eating just eat healthier:D good luck!

Yeah modeling school isn't necessary and most of them are scams. That's why I said to be careful finding an agency.

Yes, Modeling school is basically a scam. They just take your money, and don't do what they are supposed to do.
Posing tips- A mirror can work,. but honestly The only thing that has ever helped me is seeing all the photo's from a shoot to see what works and what doesn't.
Modelmayhem has been wonderful for me, but yes, you must be careful and do your research on anyone you are going to shoot with. If you are younger than 16, you can't sign up there.

Agencies are very difficult to find for anyone who is not the ideal model size. Freelancing is an option there and that's what sites like Modelmayhem are for. You make the decisions about that you are going to shoot and help collaborate ( depending on the individual photographer) on concept ideas. You are not likely to make any money from MM, but it is possible to land publications.

I've been freelancing for about 5 years now. There are so many different ways to get into modeling ,and in general, the freelance community is one of the most friendly, talented and inspiring group of people I've ever met. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I recommend it anyone, of any size or shape or height to try it if that is something you want to so!

Reading the site Newmodels.com would be a good idea.
This is an excellent article written by a very talented freelance model.
