I love having long natural nails! I even fix the tears in them to prevent myself from having to cut them. Some of my nails however broke beyond repair so they had to be cut. Can I leave the longer ones long? Or should I cut them down.

I cut mine all the same length only because it feels weird to have different lengths.

I know a lot of people like to cut them all. But when I have 2 or less broken I can't seem to part with them so I'll leave the others long or even maybe file them a tiny bit shorter but not all the way. But it's all up to personal preference

I would cut them to the same length.

Just for fun, try having them really short for a while. They'll grow again, and you will not have the occasional accidental scratch that comes from having nails at different lengths. (Happened to me. It was awful and I felt like an idiot)

I let my nails grow to the length that you have now, then I cut them short and let them regrow. It takes about three weeks to reach the long length again. As for the yellow color get a nail buffer and it will help dramatically. This one is my favorite:

Jackie, I agree with ladies about cutting them because they are absolutely uneven both the length and shape. But I understand why you don,t want to cut - it requests some time to grow out nails:-)

Thank you ladies for all your help!! I've taken the plunge and cut my nails! Feels so weird lol. But now they are healthier and look less tacky hahahaha
