I use it on my face and I have sensitive, eczema prone skin...so yes. It is also hypoallergenic which is always a good thing especially if you plan to use on your face. I put in on at night after washing my face about 2 times per wk when I'm not using a night cream. I love it because its keeps my face very soft and healthy looking and its the most "non-greasy" oil I own (if that makes sense) lol! For this reason it does not clog my pores at all which was one of my main concerns whn I started using.

I've heard a lot of good things about it, I'm sure it's fine on your face. Bio oil is just mineral oil, a lil vitamin a and e, glycerin, and Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate (an ester of Cetearyl Alcohol) all the other ingredients seem to be really unnecessary, you could probably make your own.

If your skin is acne prone then I wouldn't even touch it. But like Lexi said just make your own and add your own benefits. There's not a lot of good reviews on it on makeupalley and son alarming ingredients in it but that's up to you.

I wouldn't recommend experimenting and making it on your own unless you are educated on what amounts you will need as well as exactly what ingredients to use and be sure to get the appropriate consistencies. You certainly don't want to put a heavy oil on your face or have a heavy concentration of any one ingredient that can potentially damage your skin. This product does contain mineral oil aka liquid petroleum aka baby oil as many other beauty products does. For the most part its highly rated due to its effectiveness in what it claims to do.
