So. This week at work has been really rough. I work in government/public safety. I am working from home today and want to hit Ulta or SEPHORA when I go to lunch. I need inspiration. So ladies, tell me what you would buy if you could go there and get any one item you covet? Thanks in advance.

I've been on the fence about the Anastasia Lavish Eye palette. Comes with supplies to maintain brows plus beautiful eyeshadows. BareMinerals has beautiful eye duos and quads. Very creamy in texture and highly pigmented. Cargo has some wonderful blushes (waterproof too). NYX came out with lip butters in balm form. Not shiny in texture but does a great job at staying on the lips and come in some pretty nice colors. All at ULTA.

Thanks Shelley. I think I will check out the Anastasia eye palette, I need some brow maintenance this weekend. And the lip butters, I haven't seen those yet. :)

I've been having a rough week myself kelly.. tgif!!. I stopped n ulta for a mad dash to replace my nyx blackberry lip liner and came back with this stuff.. ;-)
you can never go wrong with grabbing a nice lip color or interesting eye pallet. bare minerals has a ton of kits. if I were you. I'd grab one of those..

@Shelley, Anastasia Brow anything is great. Bought mine 5 years ago after a tweezing mishap,and I do full makeup everyday just starting to run out of the wax.

Oh. I gotcha.
at the butter balm. I ordered one when ulta had 40% off but just put it one once. it seemed like a nice balm. but I'm going to use it thru next wk or so n prob could tell you better then.
the first butter gloss I picked up was over the summer initially just cause the orange color was so pretty. but I have a couple more as of recently and I really do like them because they are superrrrrr smooth. like feel real comfy n creamy when you apply n the color blends really nicely. it kind of reminds me of Mac cremesheen. they aren't shimmery. just creamy. n they have a nice scent/flavor. for the price, they're really good. just try one to start. they are 4.99..

@Tara...I just find the NYX lip butters to be 10x's better than my pricier glosses. Even after they fade my lips don't feel dry cracked. And that is so rare to find...at least for me it is when it comes to glosses. And since I've discovered the how to ultilize my lip liners with the glosses I've been able to create longer wear time with them plus create new lip colors. For $5 I can't help but collect them as they get heavy rotation. Beating out my higher end brands.

Thank you Shelley and Naomi! I am definitely going to pick some up, keeping my lips soft us a huge priority for me buy I still love wearing lipstick and gloss. thanks ladies I will leery you know when I try them.
