I've recently just bought a tinted moisturiser foundation. Its a liquid foundation. I've never used foundation before although I regularly use concealer (natural, green and purple).
I'm just curious to:
- Whether I apply foundation or concealer first
- Whether its okay to not use a brush, but a small sponge or just with fingers
- How to actually blend and apply the foundation
I really need to learn soon! Thanks so much in advance!

It all depends on your preference. You can apply concealer before or after both works. Same with brushes and fingers. It's what you like. Sponges typically absorb more foundation and you end up wasting it. But it whatever you like really.

- concealer can go after if it's a natural shade that's your skin color (or before, it's a matter of preference) if it's a color correction (the green and purple) then it goes before foundation
-yes it's okay to use fingers or a sponge
-you can stipple it all over then buff it out or just rub it in with your fingers until there's no streaks and it disappears into your skin

Brushes give you more control and keep your hands clean but many people use their fingers too even makeup artists. Sponges also ;p.

Apply concealer first then the foundation and um concealer you could do it with your finger and to blend the foundation do it with a beauty blender you can get them anywhere they're really easy to use! and work amazing! you can use a brush as well but the beauty blender is amazing!

Here's my steps! First I moisturizer, Than add primer, I use milk of magnesia, Apply my foundation, I use liquid foundation, so while I wait for my foundation to dry and sit onto my face I work on my eye makeup, than concealer, than blush

I like to use a stipple brush to apply liquid because it goes on a lot lighter than when I use my fingers. it just turns out cakey if I use my fingers or a sponge. After applying the foundation with the brush I go over it with a face or foundation brush to blend it in. That's how I use it but you really could apply it however you would like. and yes concealer then foundation if it's color correcting.
