Yes mainly happens if you easily sweat or as already mentioned due to dandruf or from using a lot of hair products. Keeping your hair clean and out of your face should help. Also changing your pillow case often is also helpful.

I have the same problem and I don't have dandruff or used hair products.I have gym class and I think I sweat a little on my forehead.If you have a sweaty forehead,just wipe it with a damp cloth.Thats what I do:)

I have the same problem!! Put your hair back when you sleep (like in a top knot or a ponytail.) I've been using the body shop seaweed toner on my hairline areas and it has helped a lot.

Yeah, I do a lot of sports and sweat a lot. lol. ill try toner.
