Uuh, I have a question._.<3
if you dyed your hair with black hair dye , how long do you have to wait to bleach it?:o

I'm not a hairdresser but I would have used some color remover instead of bleaching it first. I know that L'oreal did one of this kind of product :)

The only way would be to use a color stripper because black hair dye is the hardest to remove. it will never fade away on its own and if you bleached on top of you colour it can come out like a red orange color. you can get a color stripper called colourb4 in most drug stores :-)

@gemma those color strippers don't really take the whole thing of I had black hair and did that cuz I didnt want to bleach my hair and it did nothing to it I was so disappointed lol.

From personal experience I always waited at least 6 months after I went black ( like really rich jet/blue black). You'll still be brassy so a toner is your best bet, depending on what color you're going to go with after you bleach.

Even then you'll need an intense deep conditioner and/or hot oil treatments for quite some time because I can't stress enough that no matter how long you wait to bleach after black, you're still lifting BLACK from your hair so just make sure you're ready to commit to your next color because you won't want to color again for quite some time lol.
