I use African black soap & its helped. I used to have really bad acne but it's gotten better. If it gets really bad you're better off seeing a dermatologist. That's what I did and it helped a lot. You should also take into consideration other aspects that could be affecting your skin. Make sure if you're using makeup it's good quality and right for your skin type. Also clean off completely any makeup on your face at the end of the day- use wipes & a makeup remover and also wash your face with an anti-acne face wash. Scrub once in a while eg. a week NOT everyday. Use an anti-acne scrub too. I personally use a clay mask and it helps with oiliness. Also as you do all these skin treatments make sure you do not overwhelm your skin. Like I scrub and mask on different days so that I don't dry out my skin too much and have the reverse effect of too much sebum production. If you sleep with your hair open change your pillow case every 2-3 days coz the products on your hair might be getting into your skin. Also don't touch your face too much during the day. And also a balanced diet with less oily foods and lots of water will help. In terms of product brands a've used Neutrogena & it helps, currently am using Oriflames anti-acne line and it's helping too. Sorry for the long post but this is what helps me. Hope it helps you too:)
