I'm looking to branch out into using tiny studs, rhinestones, etc.on my nails. Do they make a special tool for picking up and applying the studs? If not what do you guys use to pick up and transfer them onto your nails? Do you also use a type if glue or just a clear too coat to get them to stick? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks Louise. I did some research on you tube and I think in going to try using and orange stick and clear nail glue.

I did see they make special white pencils, with a rubbery white lead to pick them up, but apparently people don't like using them because they leave a white residue on the stud.

I had a kit that came with a stick that had a tacky end to it. that worked perfectly.

Nikelle I think I actually bought what you are talking about... Came with a small case of jewels and the picker upper attached to the top of the box, it came as a set.

I just lick an angled pencil easer and it picks up the jewel or sequin just fine. Anything slightly pen-shaped and damp will do. No need to spend money on a special tool. :)
