Use a scrub on it like the st.ives apricot scrub and then use the aveeno positively radiant daily moisturizer. You can dab some of the juice squeezed out from a lemon on it and itpp gradually lighten it.

Try bio oil or a vitamin e gel! And be sure use sunscreen on you face everyday to prevent more dark spots from popping up on your skin :)

I wouldn't recommend bio oil or vitamin e oil. As I have just mentioned on someone else's thread :) vitamin e oil according to some study doesn't really help (or made matters worse) for 90% of the patients, and 33% who used topical vitamin E developed a contact dermatitis. (University of Miami). Try Honey & Lemon juice, lavender essential oil, aloe vera oil, or tree tea oil. For meds you may want to try a retinoid (related chemically to vitamin a) such as Tretinoin or Adapalene it will help lighten your scars.

Oh as previously mentioned using sunscreen on acne prone skin is very useful especially if it contains zinc oxide. from my understanding a sunblock is much more effective than sunscreen.

No lavender oil it's toxic to your skin on a cellular level and it makes you probe to sun damage so I wouldn't recommend that at all. Just a tip love.

I guess I'm just part of the lucky 10% that vitamin e oil worked for. But honey and yogurt I loooove! Ice really helps prevent freshly popped pimples from scaring too (if you HAVE to pop them). It helps reduce redness and swelling :)

@Alyssa. yes, your face regimen.
gotcha.
I'm assuming your prescribed moisturizer doesn't have any spf in it.?
spf is good to use on your face in general for anti aging purposes, skin cancer Risk reduction, etc.
I make sure I use a moisturizer with it in there. if you don't want to do that. you can always use a powder with spf. if it wearing makeup. just make sure that foundation has spf. I even have a translucent spf powder by elf. I never used it so can't give a real review on that specific product performance.. but. it was about $6 n that could b somethin you can try.
