I use a flat to Kabuki with a long handle or my fingers in a rush, but I feel like not all liquid foundations apply well with the fingers. Atleast not for me I have large pores and ALOT of redness.

Depends on what foundation I am using. I prefer to use my fingers when I use my Revlon Colorstay but I prefer to use a brush when I use my Too Faced products.

Depends on the foundation. my everyday light to medium coverage product (Tarte tinten BB treatment) I apply with my fingers because it blends so easily. fuller coverage liquid foundations, I usually apply with a brush... for thick cream like foundations I like to use a damp sponge.

When I'm at home, I use my fingers to apply the foundation to my skin, then I spread it out with a stippling brush to make it look airbrushed. When working on a client, I use my stippling brush. A stippling brush works well with crèmes and liquid foundation.
