Okay great! I've bought bio oil but is it effective?

They slowly start to fade a little with the cocoa butter, so yea you see results
but I've heard good things about the bio oil :) that's supposed to be very effective

I hate being the negative person lol but just being honest. Bio oil didnt do anything from my pregnancy stretch marks. neither did cocoa butter. They were both a waste of money and time :/

You can't really get rid of then but you can reduce the appearance by using cocoa butter or aloe Vera gel.

Stretch marks also depend on genetics. There's really no way to get rid of them tho tbh.

I've been using bio oil and I have actually seen SOME result. No your marks won't fully go but they will fade little by little in time. I also used aloe vera with bio oil.

Veronica is right. Genetics play a huge role here as does the speed in which you gain weight...obviously that differs from person to person. The main ingredient in Bio Oil is mineral oil. Mineral oil does not absorb well due to it's molecular structure. Staying moisturized is always an excellent idea, but you'd do better with perhaps Mederma's Stretchmark Therapy. Even so, they will turn silvery white over time and for some fade slightly, but my derm has assured me there is no product that's going to remove them. I'm inclined to agree with her. Rats!

You can fade them but they won't go away completely. Shea butter or cocoa butter!

Make sure they are always moisturized, especially after showering, and if you scratch or itch them they will get darker. So be careful not to do that.
