I recently purchased this for my husband who has a bad habit of digging at his face with tweezers to get supposed ingrown hairs out...I tell him to stop all the time so I hope this helps his scaring...my question though does anyone use this in place of their regular moisturizer.

I never have but regularly use Vitamin E and Jojoba oil on my face :) I can't imagine it would do any harm to him other than feel a little sticky or greasy lol. I hope it works for him!

It contains mineral oil so tread carefully because mineral oil can clog pores. Some people experience zero issues using it but if you really want another alternative...Alpha Hydrox Glycolic Acid. It will help with fading the scars and help with those ingrowns as well. It's super affordable and you can pick it up at ULTA. Its not in girly packaging so the hubby won't stress about using a "woman's product". Be sure to print up the $3.50 off coupon from the ULTA website (its valid till the 30th) for whichever product you go for (they sell BioOil at ULTA too).

Following on from what Shelley said, bio oil really broke me out and blocked my pores! You should have a look at palmers skin therapy oil it is better than bio oil in terms of results!!

You really should try Anthony Logistics for men it does have glycolic as Shelley suggested as well as salicylic and phytic acid and it's specifically formulated for ingrown hair so it will help the hairs not grow back under the skin as well as clear up scarring,Bio oil won't help with the real issue which is the ingrown hairs.
