I'm building my freelance makeup kit and I was hoping some of you could suggest a great foundation to add. I know foundations will be the most expensive investment but is there a good brand for a good price? Thanks! :)

Illamasqua Skin Base foundation. It's amazing! Although it's relatively costly, a little of the product goes a long way. Also, it comes in 26 shades which is perfect for makeup artists.
If you're sometimes looking for a lower priced one, MUA do a BB foundation which I wear often and it lasts me for the whole day. In the UK it's usually £4 but £3 at the moment. It should cost more because of it's standard to be honest but heyho, I'm not complaining!
Hope this has helped :)

For a freelance makeup kit I would recommend cream foundations instead of liquid. They have better coverage, so you won't need concealers, and they're less messy to blend for custom shades.
Some good brands are
Mehron
Ben nye
Graftobian
Rcma
(All available at www.camerareadycosmetics.com very reasonably priced)
Occ concealers used as foundations are good too

I use the photo ready revlon ones in my kit, I have every single color. At ultra there are deals where u buy 1 and get the other 50% off so u should look for that. Also, I like the revlon foundations just as much as the Mac mineralize. (:
