^^Definitely! For a drugstore alternative, try Revlon Colorstay. I've also heard great things about It Costmetic Bye Bye Redness foundation.
Brands like Almay, Clinique, and Neutrogena make foundations with salicylic acid that will treat your breakouts while covering them.
And remember, in order to cover the texture of acne, you would have to apply a very thick layer of foundation, or else the bumps would still stand out. The goal is more to color-correct than make the spots ar level with your skin, if that makes sense!
