My hair is kinda short and it always looks a mess when I curl it.

Section it '

part it in half sideways.

then the bottom half part it in half again and curl it by 4 pices on the bottom since you have short hair it will be easy and same way part the top into 4 sections.

Try to keep the hair you are not curling momentarily out of the way so that you don't miss the little hairs - otherwise there will be small straight strands mixed in with your curls!!

First put the upper half up on top of your head. Now starting from the back, curl your hair, putting the curled pieces behind your sholder. Once you are done with the bottom half, untie the top and use the same meathod.
