Do any of you use vitamin E oil on your face? What are the benefits from it? I want to try it but I'm always a little scared about using new products on my skin because I tend to break out very easily. Could it help with redness in my cheeks?

If you break out easily stay away from it!

Really Sophia? I've actually been reading that it's good for acne.

I was telling my friend who has very oily skin to stop trying to strip her skin of oil and use oil to moisturizer it. She looked at me like I was nuts. But every time you strip your skin of oil it will compensate for more. Your skin is a sensory organ. However if you use oil it will stop producing oil and you will have nice clean oil on your face. She started using it four days ago and she called me the other day to tell me how much better her skin has gotten. She says it also cleared up her skin and evened it out nicely.

When you have a pimple (pustule or papule) the gunk inside your skin needs to oxygenate. that doesn't mean you have to pop it. you should use 5% benzyol peroxide to oxygenate it and salycilic acid to exfloliate it, both works hand in hand. when you slather oil on your face the oil molecule on top of your skin is so "big" the gunk inside your pimple can't breathe. lol putting things like coconut oil / olive oil/ and stuff like that can cause milia even if it feels like your skin is getting a lot smoother. vitamin e oil is good for scars not acne if youre acne prone and youre scared I would stay away from it. :)

I have been using vitamin e on my face for over a month now and I have been breaking out less than what I was before I started using it. It's not like I had major breakouts but it was still irritating to see those few pimples. I have actually read in a magazine that using those different oils is quite good for your face..

Yeah you just have to becareful. there's times when magazines would tell you to put olive oil or coconut oil on your face. do nottt do it!! sticking to a good regimine reccomended by a trusted esthetician is a better idea. they have products that are better for your skin.

I would only use it if it's 100% pure vitamin E.
