When I use foundation it looks very nice at first, but not too long after it doesn't just fade but it comes off in patches and makes my skin look spotty. Does this mean I have dry or oily skin??

It could be your foundation or the way you're applying it. Do you use a brush or sponge, etc?

You need to exfoliate your face it sounds like you've got dry skin and the foundation is separating on to it?

It's probably the brand of the foundation.

Happened to me too. After applying it a thousand different ways I asked a MUA and turns out its the foundation. Especially if its a long lasting foundation.

Exfoliate once a week. Before applying your found action moisturizer well let it absorb then apply a primer let it absorb and then apply your foundation and finish it all of with a setting spray

If you are trying to make it stay on longer you should put on primer before you apply makeup and a setting spray afterwards?
