As far as product, I honestly couldn't tell you. But when you wear makeup, I know you can put peach color corrector over it to disguise them completely. Destiny Godley has a great tutorial for color correctors for dark skin http://youtu.be/RJfl_DliMmA.

You may want to try a series of light peels with salicylic acid. One a week..for three consecutive weeks, for example. My derm recommended them to a friend with your coloring and it not only eliminated most of her acne, but evened out her skin tone. Sephora and Ulta both carry them. A search on their websites will provide pricing, reviews and ingredients. As for spot coversge, Clinique is often a great fit for sensitive skin and is non comodogenic...which means it won't clog pores. Good luck!

Philosophy miracle worker dark spot corrector is awesome! Paired up with daily sunscreen, most of my dark spots are nearly invisible now and I'm not even done using a full bottle yet :)

I am currently dealing with this and I've been using a microfibre cloth to exfoliate with a product that eliminates them and I'm seeing results

Go with an AHA treatment. (Chemical exfoliation) it stimulates cell overturn. Therefore lightening dark spots overtime. Go with 5-8%. St Ives scrub free exfoliating pads are great for starting out. Use them after you wash your face. And wait for it to dry before using a moisturizer. It may take 3-6 months depending on your skin (usually 2 months for me, or even faster) make sure to use broad spectrum 30+ sunscreen everyday to prevent the marks from getting any darker.

Philosophy did nothing for my dark spots and I used it the exact way I was supposed to and until I finished it. Literally not 1 spot was lighter. I was upset lol
I would recommend getting a clarisonic (I just ordered mine yesterday!) the esthetician I work with at sephora told me I need to regenerate new skin in order to decrease the spots, with a clarisonic you truly slough off all the dead skin cells as well as properly cleaning out pores.
Also, murad and clinique both make dark spot correcting serums, I heard great things about both though I havent purchased one just yet. I'm waiting to see how much I can achieve with my clarisonic. I use origins face wash. Moisturize properly always!! And at night I use a korres brightening sleeping facial that will even out skin tone.
With just the korres sleeping facial I noticed a slight difference, I'm hoping this will be intensified when I begin using my clarisonic. Good luck hun!! Dark spots were the vane of my existsance for a little over a year now, embrace the skin your in & focus on making your skin have a healthy glow instead of continuing to cover up. It will be better for you in the long run
