I've been using baby shampoo but someone told me that it's actually bad for the brushes... Anybody else heard this? What do you like to use?

I know you can use brush cleaner (duh lol) or alcohol or a normal/gentle facial cleanser (Lauren Curtis on YouTube uses purity face wash)

I've heard its bad, I've heard its fine, I've heard people prefer it... too many conflicting ideas on baby shampoo and brushes, so I really couldn't tell you what's right haha
I use a brush preserver &cleanser that I also use on my paint brushes. Its a solid product called "The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver" and is found in any art supply shop. Some of my paint brushes are more expensive and some seem more delicate than my makeup brushes, so I figured it was okay to use! I've been using it for quite some time on my makeup brushes and they are in great condition, so I keep using it!

Mac brush cleanser/ elf brush shampoo!

I use Elfs brush shampoo/ dawn on most of my brushes but my foundation brush holds product like no other, it's ridiculous. I've actually started using a dawn/baking soda/ vinegar on it. I'm sure it's not great on the brush but it's the only thing I've used that actually gets it all out
