Anybody out there who's gotten the jessners peel to treat acne? I'm on my 2nd one and my skin got really bad on the first one but it was expected, and my 2nd one my skin looks like its improving. I'd love to know how it has worked for people or hasn't. Hope to hear from yous!

What kind of peel was it? I'm using a 40% Lactic peel (not sure of the brand) more for acne scarring than for acne itself...but that with a few microderm treatments has definitely gotten me some good results. The peel did cause a lot of drying and sensitivity but I think that's part of the process.

I've had a few Jessners and think they are way to strong/irritating for acne prone skin. Make sure you have a qualified Esthetician, because this is a major peel and can cause hypo pigmentation (loss of pigment). I'm and a Esthetician and suggest doing a Glycolic or Lactic which are great for acne as well without the major risks of HP, scarring..
