Hi! So, I naturally have very thin, fine, straight, soft hair. And I love doing some of them messier buns/braids and bows that are popping up. But my hair is too soft to hold the styles! I'm looking for some product recommendations for some sort of texturizer I guess. I need something to give my hair a little to grab and hold, and to give it some texture other then silky smooth. I've tried basic wax/pomades, but I cant work them through my hair much, and they make my hair just look stuck together.
Also, im looking for something to give my styles a little volume too

Look for Big Sexy Hair root pump mousse as well as oasis upload volumizing cream and Osis dust it matte finish to add that little extra tackiness needed to hold teasing or curl!

I have very similar texture hair & am loving: KMS Dry Wax Spray. The dry wax does not weigh my hair down whatsoever. http://www.kmscalifornia.com/en-US/products/dry-wax.75.detail.aspx . Also, I find that if I am really going to be manipulating hair into something other than my normal style, I condition my ends..just barely..my hair is that fine. I know NOT conditioning you hair sounds like a bad thing, and it is on most days, but if you have baby fine hair, you really have to take it easy.

I have super thin hair too, and it naturally lays flat. To give it some volume, I run mousse through the roots of my hair. After that, spray some heat protectant on, the blow dry real well. Make sure you get the roots, or it won't work too well.
I love doing this because it's easy, and looks so natural. It looks like you've suddenly grown tons of hair!

And on a side note, I saw Non was talking about only conditioning a little. But with me, conditioner makes me a wreck. I just skip that step all together.

Do you have a favorite mousse that isnt too sticky?

I use the Nexxus Plus Volumizing mousse. It comes in a tanish bottle. Oh, and after you put it in your hair, it feels sticky on your hands, but not in your hair.
