Practice and getting a decent eyeliner. I struggle with traditional liquid eyeliners instead I use the ones with a felt tip which makes it a lot easier since it feels like I'm just drawing :) good luck.

Practice definitely makes perfect for lining your top lashline try and keep your eyes open so you can see if you miss your lashline and use a very smooth eyeliner pencil that's sharp I find that's the easiest for starting out.
