I'm not familiar with all of the beauty lingo but I've seen/heard this before and think it's the cutest little description lol. but what exactly is the benefit or outcome when people say to put highlight/concealer there? sorry to sound dumb.

Oh and the benefit of putting a highlighter there is that it makes the illusion of a fuller lip.

The benefit is that a little highlight to the Cupid's bow actually makes you lips look bigger :)

Donna, you don't have a cupids bow? You should, even if it is subtle, and you can always use liner to make it look bigger.
