When I paint my nails it seems to last less than 24 hours before parts of the polish start to fall/flake off. I spend a lot of time making them look nice and love a lot of the results. How can I make the polish actually stay on?

I love the Orly Bonder rubberized base coat!! I've been through two bottles so far, and I don't have as much of a problem with chipping as I use to.

The Kensington caviar base and top coat really help, they also help with nail growth and stimulation :)

Try Seche Vite's top coat. It's amazing!! Your mani will not chip for days! Plus it smooths out uneven polish & gives a gel like shine! It's the only top coat I use ❤

Make sure you use a base coat and a top coat. Also, don't apply layers of polish. The more layers, the thicker the polish and the easier it is to flake and chip off!

Make sure you run nail polish remover and use a good hand soap in addition to high quality top and base coats. Having any sort of natural/artificial oils on your nails will prevent polish from adhering properly.

I use a strengthening nail polish over the top of my nails which hardens the nails & the polish. They last a lot longer when I use that. Hopefully this helps :)

I would recommend gel polish or so. I, myself hav gel nails and love them. No broken nails, no chipping nail polish...

Wipe your nails with remover first. Make sure you aren't in a humid environment when you are painting your nails, as the moisture will affect the polish (much like regular paint). Use a base coat under your polish, and a top coat on top. Make sure your base, polish, and top are either all 3-Free or not 3-Free, because often times mixing regular and 3-Free nail products just doesn't work. Lastly, try to avoid bending your nails in such a way that moisture can get under the polish (prying at things will weaken the edges, then water can get in and loosen the bond).
