Maybe more creative but if you like it then keep it but I would for maybe a different color or with a design on it.

If you'd like to spice it up you can personalize it with keychains, studs and even fabric paint if you think it's too boring, But otherwise I like it the way it is. Bag's shouldn't have to be fashionable for school. Unless it's going to be with you 24/7 throughout the school day for the entire year, you shouldn't have to worry about having a good-looking bag. As long as everything fits it should be fine, but it doesn't hurt to spice it up a bit to make it more "You".
