MAC 224 brush.. whats a good alternative?

I absolutely LOVE MAC brushes. I love the 224 brush but it's extremely rough!
Does anyone else have this problem?
Did I get a bad brush?
What's a good SOFT blending brush?

I, personally have never used the brush but I hear that Sonia Kashuk has a really good dupe, and it's really cheap. Hope this helped. :)

Yeah, 224 is definitely not one of my softest brushes, even though I wash it with conditioner too. I tend to use Sigma's E35 for quick blending, it's softer and almost the same size.

Sigma E40, perhaps? (A bit fluffier than the 224.)
