So I am struggling with makeup, and its application due to the peach fuzz on my face. I am light skin, not fair. blue eyes, brown hair. The hair on my face is very fine and light, but it is making liquid foundation application a nightmare. I would consider my makeup and skin care very adept, but not pro level. Removal causes breakouts... I Have decent luck with powder base, but they lack longevity I.m.o. Suggestions? Sympathy? lol... thank you for reading!

That sucks :/ apply your foundation with a foundation brush and stroke downward so the hairs lay flat!

Agree with @brittany!! Go upwards apply foundation picks up your peach fuzz and makes it stick up :3 always go downwards!!

I've heard that using a Beauty Blender and rolling it in downward motions can help, if you prefer using a sponge instead of a brush.

Yes strike down wards and use a flat foundation brush. Also use a foundation that doesn't set as quickly.

Try using Nair. google it! it's a lotion you put on your face any where that you have unwanted hairs. the hairs literally painlessly fall out! it's a miracle- my family swears by it! even my grandma! go to the website and it'll explain it all!

I agree with those saying to blend down. Blending upward will just make them stick up and allow the color to show on the hairs. I wouldn't recommend removing the hair, aside from maybe the upper lip if its really bothersome. But generally the hair is meant to be there and I think removing it will be more trouble than its worth in the end, and doing it all over your face may irritate your skin. If it's still really a problem and you have the money and are willing to learn to use it, airbrushing foundation will give the best results I think. The cold air from the airbrush makes the hairs stand up so the makeup goes, for the most part, only on the skin. Then when the skin warms back up the hairs will lay flat again over the makeup so they don't stick up :)

You know Marilyn Monroe had a lot of peach fuzz on her face too and refused to shave it or wax it because she thought it gave her her famous dewy glowing skin. And it worked for her. Wear it proud baby!

I had mine and I'm 35 and finally I just used Nair for face. If you read the directions and fine what works for you (upper lip is 5 minutes for me, cheeks/chin are maybe 2-3) it works great and doesn't grow back thicker. No matter HOW you do your foundation, when we sit outside & the sun hits our face, you'll be able to see it. :) so Nair for face was my only option & I'm very happy with it.

If depilatory creams don't work for you ( I suggest you don't go close to the sally hansen brand, as it just burn your skin in the process ) then perhaps you can bleach them and apply your make up as others suggested?
