Okay so I am 22 yrs old and I am kind of just starting to wear makeup and I need help to get started. Last Christmas my younger sister gave me a 88 color palet from bh cosmetics. I have some makeup brushes but I need figuring out what I should buy to keep adding to my makeup collection. Now on my budget I can mainly afford drugstore makeup so if any one has any suggestions I would appreciate it =D

Revlon, Rimmel and Hard Candy Are My Favs

Let's not forget E.L.F. I've heard a lot of talk about the line because the products are supposed to be such a good quality for a minimum budget. I just added a few of their products to my kit so I'm excited to see how they work for my clients' needs. BH Cosmetics is also great (with lots of Youtube videos on their products) and be sure to purchase their eye/lip primer for all day wear. BH also has sales all the time so sign up for email updates so you're able to take advantage of them and search for promotional codes. Lastly remember, with anything practice makes perfect. Good luck!

As a MUA I recommend you do try ELF you can buy it at Target, nothing is over 10 dollars pretty much & all the brushes from blending to contouring you can buy for about 1.00$ & the brushes are good. The Makeup is a good quality makeup . It was rated #7 in the makeup line right now & it went from #7282 it's moving up fast but the product is worth the buy.

wet n wild single eyeshadows are really good, NYX, physicians formula for a few product, as long as brushes I started out my collection with crown brush I have a ton of those brushes from eyes to face and all in between.
mascara I love rimmel london and NYX they're cheap and they do the job.
lashes Ardell.
try and see if you like it :)

Revlon has my all time favorite lip products, Wet N Wild for eyes and rimmel+ maybelline for face. As for brushes EcoTools are the softest I've found at the drugstore.

Wal mart has ahhhmazing brushes also for under 10$ ther so soft I can't even tell you!:)

Drugstore mascara like Maybelline in my opinion better than any other mascara out there. Plus their pretty cheap so it's great

You can buy coastal scents brushes. I bought five eye brushes for 15 bucks (tax and shipping and handling included).

In my opinion from experience of trying these brands these are the brands that I enjoy the most for certain products (there are some products out there I have not tried ever, this is just from knowledge of What I have used before):
Brushes: Elf's studio line (extremely soft, worth the money) and ecotools
Foundation: L'oreal, Revlon
Powders: Maybelline, Rimmel
Concealers: Garnier, NYC (liquid forn, not the stick kind)
Eyeshadows: Wetn'Wild, Maybelline
Eyeliners: NYX, Almay, L'oreal, Milani
Mascaras: L'oreal, Maybelline, Covergirl Lashblast
Lipsticks: Revlon, Rimmel, NYC, Maybelline L'oreal (basically all)
Lipgloss: elf
Hope that was somewhat helpful :)

I suggest first buying some eyeshadow. They're easy to apply and fun to play around with. Keep "playing" until you get comfortable. Another must have is mascara. If you put on eyeshadow you need to wear mascara. My co-worker is guilty of this and her lashes are always a dusty mess. After that move on to lip colors. Try to find swatches online and make a list before you go shopping. Foundation you should worry about last because there's a million formulas out there and it can be scary at first.
