How do I get rid of this?! Why is it even there?!

This is my 5 week old mosquito bite... He's been hanging around for too long. It's just a dark spot now. But I didn't even itch it! How do I get rid of it?? And make sure it doesn't happen again?!

Aloe vera might get rid and heal it. I think it might last longer there (it's on your hip right?? ) because the skin is thicker than the leg and arm. I got a bruise on my thigh and it was there for God knows how long!

I agree with sage. my sister had a big dark spot on her hip from scratching a mosquito bite. I gave her aloe gel and after a few days it was gone.
