I thought it would be a cool idea if we had a space to share tips and tricks for getting followers for your blog. I mean there is the follow for a follow and posting you links on here but what else do you do to get followers?

I find that I get by far the most views on my tutorials. On of my tutorials has 700 (not a lot, but a lot for me) views, and the most I have on any others is 100. So, quality videos. Do video responses, and try to get yourself onto a lot of social media sites. Comment on everything that you feel you can (and say something of value). That's all I can really offer, because I'm pretty sure all of my followers/subscribers are from beautylish...
