I went to the dermatologist and he gave prescribed me some washes and my acbe is still not clearing I'm thinking in taking acne pills have you guys taken them? did it work? would acne come back after you stop taking them?

I was on Roaccutane for a while, it works like a charm but it dries your skin out a lot. There are lots of other types out there that aren't as hardcore as Roaccutane. I've been off it for about two years, and don't have a problem with acne like I did before. I get the odd spot (especially around my time of the month), but it's 100x better than before I took Roaccutane. I used to have big, ugly, red acne on my cheeks, and was worried they would scar, which is why I went on Roaccutane.

If your acne isn't an extreme case, don't go for Roaccutane. I had to get regular blood tests because it's so harsh! Talk to your dermatologist and find the best solution:)

Ask your dermatologist if you can use the exposed skincare products. They worked for me.
