Chaffing with shorts

I adore shorts and wear them all summer long! However when I wear them my inner thighs chaff and then hurt. I have tried wearing longer shorts but they look terrible! I think it's because I have thicker thighs since none of my friends have this problem. Any ways to prevent it?

I used to have this problem. try different material shorts and lotion.

My thighs used chafe all the time but I found anti-chafe balm at hibbets and now they never do.

My mom taught me this trick. put a thin layer of deodorant on the area the chaffing occurs and then put on the shorts. it's worked for me, my sister, my cousins, and all my friends I've recommended this too thus far.

They sell like gel our something specifically for that, I would google it and see what pops up.
