I am kind if a really awkward introverted person...I'm quiet and I normally don't speak a lot to anyone except at home. I'm not very confident, I'm not sure what I have to be confident in... How can I be more social... Help?!

What has helped me is making friends lol and I know it kinda contradicts itself but hear me out :) you are not the only one out there who feels that way. try speaking to people who are also shy. that way it's an even playing field. after awhile you'll become more confident talking to others :) even just creating small talk with a cashier at a store serves for great practice!!

Yes I agree with everyone. You should talk to ppl with similar feelings and thoughts, make hobbies. Even a little talk with cashier helps a lot. Me too I was a lot shy. I didn't even talked a lot in home. But than I thought tht I shouldn't be like this, then I tried a lot talked to ppl like me, and now I can talk to anyone!! Talking to (even a little bit) ppl builds more confidence

I became a lot less awkward when I joined theater. Sure the first week of not knowing anyone was awkward as hell, but its so worth it, knowing that I got so many friends from it. I'm still too shy for acting, but there's always room in crew for people to help.

First off you are GORG!
second everyone is different and strange in their own ways but that isn't a bad thing(:
I recommend just trying to talk to ppl that understand you and looking for them at places where you enjoy like clubs or if you love reading the library. if you're into sports try taking up a sport or talking to the girls that are athletic in your p.e class
put yourself out there and if you aren't well received at first don't sweat it and go to another group. I bet you're a wonderful person.((:
if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here sweetie(:
