You didn't get a kit as part of your class? I would start with the essentials and build your kit slowly.

They offer one but it's too expensive I wanted to build one until I can afford it.

I would say... Foundation, concealer, eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip liners, eyeliners, mascara, blush and setting powders and get a good set of brushes

You can build up with primers, highlighting and contouring, and more shades if products slowly
