Loreal magenta help!

So I did my hair tonight with the loreal color hilights magenta. And it looks pink. How can I fix this? Just use the ion in a week or two? Or get another box of loreal in red. Help!

Well magenta has hints of pink in it. But if you want red then just use the red dye. And you'll get this. Except mine has faded already.

How dark was your hair before you used it? And was it dyed a dark color or was it naturally dark?

Just use the red color. If that's the color yu want. I really like the magenta tho it's on my hair now

My was dyed black but I stripped it. It was reddish brown with blonde.

That's probably why then. It only really holds on a more natural dark color rather than a dyed color.

Magenta is a darker pink, so it should look pinkish. go over it with the ion red in a week!

After a week use the ion semi permanent and it might tone it down.

I think I'll do what you ladies said just use the ion semi permanent in a week to cover it. A friend told me I should have bought the red and magenta and mixed them. My hair wouldn't have turned pink.

I would put a darker red over it.
