So I've been noticing that my makeup does not stay anymore. It begins getting patchy and I'm getting hopeless because I've been buying things to fix it and nothing seems to help. I have combination/oily skin. I'm using reckon color stay for oily combination.
Then a foundation powder on top. Primer is from mark.
I Cleanse and moisturize. I've been reapplying once or twice a day. The climate isn't hot or humid.
I set it with a spray too.
Any tips? Or products?
I might have to stop using every item I have and invest in high end

What kind of spray are you using? Is it specifically for oily skin? That would be the first thing I;d recommend looking for if you're having this problem. Also try looking for a primer made for oily skin or just trying a different one in general and seeing how that works for you. Hope this helps :)

even though the weather isn't particularly hot or humid, it could be the change in weather. I'm having weird issues right now, where parts of my faces are getting super super dry and I'm NEVER dry.
also, it may just be the foundation is old or needs to be replaced.
I also might try skipping the powder to set. I've found that revlon color stay doesn't need anything else on top, since it's such a full coverage foundation.
let me know what works out for you.

I'm using the Skindanavia one and its for dry skin but it's worked until now.
The primer is for all skin types but I think it just sucks... lol
I'm returning it.
The foundation is new.
I've tried no powder and don't really like not setting it.
Idk guys I'm so confused. Thank you both, I will be trying out your suggestions and see if I notice any change

Try a better primer and stop using the Skindanavia setting spray. It believe it contains a lot of alcohol, so that may be why your foundation is separating and getting patchy on your face. Make sure you stick with water-based products consistently or oil-based products throughout your regimen. Try not to mix and match, otherwise it's like putting oil and water together. Hope this helps, and good luck!

My friend used Kat Von d's make up spray you spray it on your face after you do your make up you can get it at sephora. It seems to work for her, she swears buy it!

Sometimes it's not about the setting spray or powder but by the formula of products you are using. For example, your moisturizer is oil based but your foundation is water base, oil and water do not mix and therefore the makeup will not last. Try to use products based on the same ingredients water with water, oil with oil. Also, sometimes using too many prep products (moisturizer, sfp, primer) creates a lot of layers on the skin that don't let the foundation adhere, Try using multi-functional products. Hope this helps. =)

I suggest using Bare Minerals 'Prep and Prime'. It works great for me. Also try using Urban Decay's 'All Nighter' setting spray.

I absolutely love Victoria's Secret Face Prime. It's a primer and setting spray, works great for my oily skin in the FL humidity, and it really affordable. $12 for 4 oz :)
