Step by step on how to do fish tail plats?

It's difficult to explain but here goes:
1. Grab your hair and split into 2 sections
2. From 1st section take a small bit from the outer side and take it to the inside part of the second section.
3. Repeat on other side - take portion from outside of section and cross over to the inside of other portion
