I have oily skin and it's become quite regular recently especially on my nose. I think this may be due to the over use of products. I use a tea tree face wash twice a day. I use lemon on my face every other day. The days Inbetween the lemon I use a honey, baking soda and lemon face mask. And every 2-3 days I use the oil cleaning method. I'm wondering if this is confusing my skin? I have the odd scars which I want to clear hence the reason of using so many things! Anyone got any suggestions of using minimal things regularly which will help with the oily skin and scars..?

Are the things your using helping you? but I have oily skin as well and when I scrub it kinda gets dry, try to use a face cream that matches your skin type :)

Be careful with lemon. It will lighten your skin.

Fary-licious they do help. Definitely the honey as a cleanser. It makes it really smooth. I'm just wondering if one is having an effect on the other, reversing the point making my skin compensate by producing more oil! Oh what to do! :-/

Hi I'm a cosmetologist! Its the lemon! Using a little bit of lemon juice here and there is great but using it so much so frequently is freaking out your skin! And I don't think you're moisturizing enough, you should be using a moisturizer every time you wash your face to restore your skin's balance. A lack of moisture will cause your skin to go into overdrive and produce more oil than it normally does- and lemons will certainly remove a lot of oil from your skin.
