When purchasing foundation, I always struggle! I am never sure whether to choose a lighter darker or bang on my skin colour shade as I usually mix my foundation with a little moisturiser (foundation 4:1moisturiser) approx so that might lighten it a bit... Thank you!! Xxx Lily P ❤❤❤

It's summer so I would get a shade darker because you will get tan and you have a foundation that will match up with your skin tone perfectly

I just wanted to add something. Oxidising means something is being exposed to oxygen. A lot of times when something oxidizes it will change color but it doesn't always mean it gets darker. Some other examples of things that oxidize and change color: Hair bleach, hair color, rust, etc.
