Since the washes are very different I think it will lookgreat! If it was the same color however you'd look like a walking guess ad.

I'm not fashionista of the year but you can definitely do denim on denim. you have two different colors so it gives it some flavor. what you don't want to do is have a whole matching denim outfit. then you'll look like one of those older women that's trying to look "young and hip" lol :-)
