I'm awful at it too...can't seem to master it. I find individuals to be a little easier with some tweezers.

Hey I'm a dancer so wear them a lot! honestly it's pot luck sometimes they go on perfect first time and sometimes don't stick, uneven etc. usually mess up wen in a rush!
these look fine! I use tweezers to apply the middle bit first then attach the outer n then inner usually end up using my fingers. although be careful not to push them higher by mistake or have oil/moisturiser on face/fingers or theyl NEVER stick! good luck x

It looks like you did a really great job from the picture! I'm sure you'll have it down by august =)
just a little tip that you may or may not find works for you: when I apply lashes, I usually cut them into smaller pieces (like 2 or 3 segments).. even though the pieces are smaller, I find its much easier to apply than one big strip

I've been in theater most of my life and I'm a cosmetologist and a trained theater make up artist. False lashes are the hardest thing to master, and everyone's technique is their own! I apply glue to the last, allow it to dry a bit until it is a little tacky and then I apply the outer corner first. I hold the lash with both hands on either side and kind of roll it on. If I'm in a show I can sometimes just pop it on perfectly with one hand but it takes lots of practice to get there. Try taking a few days to apply/reapply them over and over- that's the only way to figure out what works best for you and get your technique figured out. After that it's just like riding a bike.
