Hello beauties!
How are we all? :)
Do any of the pale girls on Beautylish find that Nude lipstick kind of washes them out? I seem to find it makes me look a little weird, which is a shame because sometimes you just want a pale lip.
Is this just me orr? Any advice on nude lipsticks? I really hate nude lipstick that looks like you've cancelled out your lips with concealer/primer :/

I have the same problem i have very light skin and I bought a lot of nude lipsticks because I love the way they look on other people but I just look wierd, but I'm thinking about buying a nude lipgloss maybe it will look a little better because it's shinny!

I have that problem aswell! I got a kinda pinky nude revlon one, it's quite nice, if I remember the name I'll tell you! Do you find that nudes tend to wash you out?

I agree with the ladies above me! Try a nude lipstick with a pink undertone. You'll get a similar look with just a flush of color. Some of my favorites are Loreal's Fairest Nude, Revlon's Soft Nude, MAC's Creme d'Nude. Good luck with finding your best shade!

I'm glad it's not just me being weird again haha!
I'll try a lip liner tomorrow :) I was tempted to try Creme d'Nude but thought I'd have the same problem.
I love excuse to go shopping!

Another trick is if you already have a nude lipstick and don't want to feel like you're wasting it, just apply maybe a lip stain before applying the nude color? Or maybe a dab of blush on top of the lipstick to give it some color? Idk, just some ideas.

For me, not really. Even though I'm very fair, my lips are fairly pigmented.

I honestly swear by the NYX round lipstick in Honey. It's such a universal nude, it works on everyone, without making them look washed out. Depending on if you layer a lipstick or gloss over it, you can make it work for any skin tone. Even African Americans! I love this lipstick so, so much! It's a total hit! You should check it out!

I am so pale, like I really try not to go out to the sun because of sun damage. I'm like a freak about it. I love love love MACs lipsticks. You should go in there & have one of them help you out because that's what I did & they found a few perfect nudes for me. My favorite is Blankety. Or you can try the Revelon Lip Butters, because I know they have a nude in there. Or just use a little little bit of concealer. The place I use to work didn't have any nude lipsticks so I would just use the concealer with a lip balm underneath & maybe a little gloss over & it looked amazing (:
