I think I'm right but are bangs like, a fringe? Like what Taylor Swift has? Cos if so we don't call it bangs in Ireland, we call it a fringe. I should know this 😂

Fringe is a stupid way if saying bangs. I feel like fringe describes clothes not hair.

Ohmy. I was completely wrong then. I thought fringe was side swept bangs, and bangs were the straight across ones. Oopsies. Ha.(:

Guys stop insulting each others way of saying things... Both are ok and fine to use. I don't get what's so 'stupid' about it. They're the same thing but different sayings or words. Please don't insult each others again xo.

Yeah I'm in ireland aswell and its always been fringe. had to figure out myself what people meant when they spoke about bangs haha and over here pumps are the little flat ballerina type shoes but when I said that in a different thread people mistook the pumps that I was talking about as a form of high heels (what they call pumps)

There are all kinds of bangs; fringes (which is literally what they are called by all the hairstylist in CA), side bangs, and etc.

Nobody's way of saying anything is stupid! Stop being childish. Respect other people's cultures and the way they say things. I love how everywhere you go, words and spellings are different. Don't be so butthurt. Anyway, we call them bangs here, but I'm pretty sure they're the same. :)

It's bangs in America and fringe in UK, I lived in the UK and now back in the US and it's the one word that's stuck with me! People are always confused when I say my fringe hahahaha :) I don't know now I just think bangs sounds weird but I understand it hahahaha :) xoxo.

Fringe is the technical term for "bangs". I learned that in school.
