I'm joining the Australian army and have my interviews in 2 weeks the physical includes push ups which I cannot do for the life of me :( I'm trying to build some upper arm strength as I usually work on legs, anybody have tips on how to perfect push ups in a short period of time? Also if there's any army ladies or men on here, a few tips for training would be appreciated x

You can try the pushup challenge. It's basically everyday do you a little more than the day before. Google it if you want a schedule, you can tailor it to your needs. I did one before and got to 40 push-ups in a few weeks :)

Just do as many push-ups as you can nightly. Holding a plank will help. If you can go to the gym and do pull-ups and work your arms with weights. The hard thing about push-ups is that they don't only use your arm muscles but your chest, shoulders and abs.

There's sit ups aswell and a running test, if you pass that aswell as a psychological test you go to a base were you have 28days of insane training but I realllllly want to go there, would be an amazing experience.
