So I just bought a foundation brush... How do I use it to apply foundation? Is there a certain way?

A better thing to use to apply foundation is a cosmetic sponge.

No! Foundation brushes are the way to go! And you squirt it onto the brush, and the brush it onto your face. If it looks streaky, to it the opposite direction. Ex, if your streaks are vertical, go horizontal. Good luck!

With a foundation brush you want to go in a downward motion on your face because your skin is like shingles on a roof and by hoping down you don't het the makeup in your pores so it prevents a makeup induced break out.

I usually put the foundation on top of my hand and dip the brush in it little by little. and start putting it on my face in a downward. motion I think it's better that way so you don't get to much makeup on your face
