Actually I've been told to get the vitamin c liquid and use this with your moisturizer at night on your face. I've heard this is really good for your skin.

Generally by the time the supplement reaches the skin its already been absorbed by the body. Yes vit. C directly on skin is best way to go

The skin application seems more logical to me. I'm going to get the liquid to add to my skincare. Many thanks!!

I need to try that as well! Can I use that together with coconut oil? Do I have to put on the vit c first or mix it and than apply?

@Rebella A. apply vitamin c first...let it absorb for a few minutes then go ahead and apply your coconut oil. Do not mix the two. The coconut oil acts as a sealent for anything you apply under it so it will definitely be a great combo together since the benefits of coconut oil are great as well.

Most vitamin c serums are oxidized by the time they hit your hands. You can whip up your own pretty quickly at home using a serum base and ascorbic acid. Tons of recipes on the net.
