Shaving cream was meant for shaving if it works then why worry about changing it to something you aren't even sure about.

Shaving foam, while made for the legs, is actually very drying. conditioner is a great cheap alternative to an actual shaving cream.

The function of shaving cream is to provide a lubricated barrier so the razor will glide over the skin smoothly without cutting or catching skin. Conditioner has the same effect, minus alcohol contained in shaving creams that can be dry and irritating.

I use conditioner when I shave my legs and it makes them really soft, I am personally not a fan of shaving cream.

I love using conditioner. Shaving cream gives my legs a weird feel and it's not as protecting as conditioner is. Plus it's expensive! Go for a cheap conditioner it'll work great.

I like conditioner. It's cheaper, and leaves your legs feeling wayyyy soft and smells good.

I used conditioner and it sucked like big time it stuck all my hairs on my legs down so I couldnt shave properly and my hairs are still stuck down after two weeks I would never do it again. I use soap its the cheapest option and if your worried about it drying out then get a moisturizing soap or you could just use moisturizer after you get out of the shower :)

You can look for a shaving cream for your Type of skin. I used to use shaving cream for normal skin and it irritated me a lot, also the cream was very liquid and light, I didnt like it. then I start using a different one that was specially for sencible skin and it is super creamy and thick I love it. doesn't irritante me. so check the consistence and your Type of skin. when I use conditioner I waste too much.
